Thanks for the thumbs-up!

As Europe's first purpose-built sustainable conference venue (opened 2003) we're delighted that you mentioned the food. The in-house catering is sustainable because it is seasonal, and served with minimum food miles, as the core ingredients come from the surrounding organic farm and gardens. Can a menu be any greener?

I've given up on 'experiential'. If you think it through, everything's an experience - so everything's experiential. Doing the washing up last night wasn't much of an experience, and the emotional content was limited, but you could still describe it as experiential.

So 'experiential marketing' is 'marketing that uses everything we can experience'. Which makes 'experiential' an unnecessary word that someone decided to insert to make what they were doing sound more important.

Experiential marketing is just... marketing.

(I love a comments column. Please keep ranting...)

Hey Duncan! I stumbled across your blog completely by accident. I'd have to echo Gerry's comments not just about the hair but the fact that you are clearly thriving. I can't believe that bloke Rob is still working with you, I guess he must have got the hang of it by now. ;-) I see you are still in west London must be time to stop by for a beer.

Bloody hell, you've still got hair. Although it looks dyed to me! Great to see Line Up is prospering. We've just re-launched ourselves here in Oz with a new identity and website and bugger me we've got origami birds as well. Is it a case of 'great minds think a like' or 'there's only so many ideas out there'.

Not sure if you were contacted by Sarah Catell. She's contracted to ABT on some long term projects for a couple of years and also had experience in public and big music industry events. Ironically we currently have about 12 poms working here, plus two from Wales and one from Scotland. One of the Katie Kinder is returning to London after travelling around the world so may give you a call as well. Say hello to everyone who knows me and buy O'Leary and Belly a pint
